Cancellation Policy
The Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Clinic of Vancouver requires at least 24 hours notice for all cancellations. If you do not give us 24 hours notice, you will be required to pay a cancellation fee of $30.00 per half hour missed appointments and $60.00 per one hour missed appointments.
Parking
There is plenty of free residential parking on Stephens Street and on West 10th Avenue. There is also street meter parking right in front of the building for $1.00 per hour. If you are unfamiliar with the area, please leave time to find parking on your first visit.
Late Arrivals
At the Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Clinic of Vancouver, we try our very best to be prompt with our appointments. We ask that you arrive on time to your scheduled appointments so that you may receive ample time for your treatment and it will not be cut short. We understand that occasionally unforeseen circumstances arise that prevent you from being on time. Please call the office if you are running late and we will see if it is worthwhile for you to still make the trip to the clinic. We do have time constraints and it is usually not possible for us to treat you if you are more than 15 minutes late.
Insurance Coverage
Look into your individual extended health plan for details of coverage. Full payment is made at the time of treatment and you are responsible for providing receipts to the insurance company.
*Cosmetic Acupuncture is covered under extended health as it is considered a medical procedure.

We accept cash, cheque, visa, mastercard, and debit
Needles
Our clinic only uses sterile disposable needles. All needles are only used once!
Attire
Loose comfortable clothing is recommended if you are to receive acupuncture treatment. Please remove excessive jewelry as some metals may interfere with the efficacy of the treatments. Also, in consideration of our patients with specific sensitivities, please refrain from wearing heavy perfumes or strongly scented oils or lotions on the days you visit the Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Clinic of Vancouver.
Cellular phones and pagers
We try to provide a relaxing atmosphere at the Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Clinic of Vancouver. We ask that patients turn off all cellular phones and pagers when they are in the office to avoid disrupting the doctor and her patients.
